The Home Performance with Energy Star Program is an nation-wide EPA and Department of Energy program that offers a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving to energy efficiency and comfort at home, while helping to protect the environment.
The Metropolitan Energy Center administers the local Home Performance with
Energy Star (HPWES) program by providing lists of qualified contractors and
auditors that we train and certify through the HPWES program.
There are
rebate programs through local utilties that uses our HPWES contractor list as the program's recommend contractors and auditors. If you are interested in becoming a HPWES
