Dustin Jensen holds A.A.S. Degrees in Heating, Refrigeration and Air Delivery Technologies and Stationary engineering from the Kansas City Metropolitan Business and Technology College. He is certified by the Building Performance Institute as a Building Analyst and Shell Specialist. Additionally, he is certified by EPA to handle chemical refrigerants, and as an environmental hazards specialist (HAZWOPER). His employment experience includes HVAC field service and staff management for service coordination.
Coupled with his technical background, Mr. Jensen has received national recognition as a public speaker from the National Forensics League. He is a Henry W. Block Scholar and Morris K. Udall Congressional Scholar with the University of Missouri – Kansas City Programs for Environmental Science, Urban Affairs, and Geography. He is proficient with Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping software. Dustin Jensen manages the Kansas City Home Performance with the Energy Star program. He is a certified field test proctor for BPI and teaches the combustion safety portions of the classes provided at MEC's energy and Environmental Training Center.
